Micro Drone 3.0 uses intelligent motion sensors which allow it to hover and fly in perfectly straight lines, without deviating from its fixed axis. Simply put, its one of the easiest small scale drones to fly.
The Micro Drone 3.0 combo pack includes the drone, camera, controller, batteries, charger, 3 sets of props (1 inverted set), prop guards, and a viewer that lets you use your smartphone to fly in First Person View (FPV).
You can control the Micro Drone 3.0 using the included controller, or fly with your smartphone using the companion app (available on the Apple App Store or Google Play).

What is the flight time for the Micro Drone 3.0?
Eight minutes of continuous flying can be achieved without the camera attached. After attaching the accessories, flight time is around six minutes, and using the expansion pack and camera flight time is seven minutes due to additional lifting power. Recharge time on the batteries is up to an hour for full charge.
Does the Micro Drone 3.0 only stream video or can it record?
Micro Drone 3.0 can both stream video to a smartphone/tablet as well as record onto an onboard Micro SD memory card.
Can the camera module take photos? What is the resolution of the HD camera?
The camera module can take both photos and video. The photo resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels and image file size for each photo is typically between 30KB and 100KB. The video is shot in 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) and its recording rate is approximately 100MB/s.
What formats are the videos and photos?
The video records as MOV format with an H.264 codec and a frame rate of 25fps with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and 14.6 Mbps bitrate. There is also a Microphone and the audio codec is PCM with 128Kbps bitrate and CBR bitrate mode. The photos it takes are JPEG format with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and lossy compression mode.
How do I link the Micro Drone 3.0 with my phone or tablet?
Micro Drone 3.0 becomes a WiFi access point that your smartphone/tablet tethers to over a secure connection. Once this connection is established our app will be able to automatically configure and display the video stream coming from the drone to your smartphone/tablet.
What is the range of the Micro Drone 3.0?
With its dual control, Micro Drone 3.0 can be flown using either the professional 2.4 GHz remote control or a smartphone/tablet over WiFi. With the 2.4 GHz Remote Control the range is 500ft (~150m). The camera module will be able to record video to an onboard Micro SD memory card up to this distance. Live streaming to your smartphone/tablet can be made up to 150ft.
What happens when the battery runs low on the Micro Drone 3.0?
The Micro Drone 3.0 has an early warning indicator where the onboard LEDs flash rapidly when there is less than 30 seconds of remaining flight time.
Will there be camera upgrades for the Micro Drone 3.0?
Yes! The Micro Drone 3.0 is designed with modules to snap on with magnets which means the ability to install a wide selection of cameras (eg. Fish Eye Lens, 1080p, Analog FPV, Night Vision and more). Camera technology is getting lighter and more advanced. Users will be able to continuously upgrade the modules as new ones are developed without having to change the Drone.
